Bucharest, October 7, 2024 – RBJ – In the first days of October, Bucharest was the epicenter of contemporary jewelry. Romanian Jewelry Week 2024 brought together creators from all over the world, offering a unique platform to explore craft, design and innovation in the art of jewelry.
Visitors had the opportunity to admire thousands of pieces, from conceptual jewelry to luxury pieces, all featuring an impressive diversity of styles and techniques.
Between October 5-6, the National Library of Romania also hosted a special section of the fair, where the public had the opportunity to purchase their favorite creations directly from the artists. A rare opportunity to own a piece of the talent and vision of these creators.
On October 3, jewelry designer Michael Berger presented his collection of kinetic jewelry at the Goethe-Institut.
In partnership with Romanian Jewelry Week, Diploma Show 2024 brought to the center of attention a special selection of jewelry created by graduates from all over the world. Young designers presented the future of contemporary jewelry. The Global Creative Graduate Showcase featured artists from the UK, Canada, India and South Africa, offering a global view of new talent starting to make their way onto the international stage.
ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK is the largest international event organized in Romania dedicated to contemporary jewelry, organized by Assamblage National Jewelry Association since 2020. The format of event includes each year a large area of exhibitions, fairs, conferences, workshops, seminars and guided tours, with one main location as well as connected locations. The Romanian Jewelry Week awards are designated by an international jury board, as well as special awards each year by official partners.
The fifth edition of Romanian Jewelry Week took place between the 2 – 6th of October 2024.
