This event will also mark the launch of his designer brand, VOICU, bringing a fresh perspective and innovative approach to the furniture design universe.
With his debut at ICFF, Voicu marks a milestone in his career as he unveils his latest creations, exploring new horizons in the design world, and bringing forth a fresh and innovative vision. With his daring approach, he extends the limits of creativity, experimenting with materials and innovative techniques.
Known for his minimalist style and architectural refinement, Voicu infuses each design with a unique blend of modern aesthetics and organic inspirations that transcend mere functionality, evolving into captivating works of art that animate spaces, stimulate imagination, and reshape perceptions.
With a career marked by acclaimed exhibitions at prestigious venues such as Salone del Mobile in Milan, INDEX in Dubai, and Esprit Meuble in Paris, Voicu has earned international recognition for his minimalist concepts, solidifying his position in the world of contemporary furniture design.
As a graduate of the University of Arts and Design Cluj-Napoca, Voicu continues to expand his creative horizons through his studies in Architecture and Urban Planning at Ion Mincu University, Bucharest. This commitment to deepen his knowledge and skills highlights his dedication to the evolution and excellence in the field of design.
Designer Voicu Crețu, the visionary force behind the VOICU brand, comes from a family with a deeply rooted tradition in woodwork craftsmanship. As the fifth generation of the Nord Arin company, Voicu continues his family’s legacy that started in 1920, by launching his brand as a designer. All VOICU designs are proudly brought to life by Nord Arin, a company synonymous with quality and sustainability, with Voicu as the creator and Nord Arin as the skilled manufacturer. Utilizing exclusively sustainably sourced Romanian solid wood, Nord Arin ensures that each piece embodies a legacy of craftsmanship that spans generations.
