Bucharest, October 31, 2025 – RBJ – For three days, Politehnica University of Bucharest becomes the global epicenter of a vibrant community and also the place where hundreds of robots create a unique show of technology and innovation. The event takes place from October 31 to November 2, 2025 and is the largest robotics festival in Europe!
This year’s edition will bring together over 1,200 participants from 30 countries in Bucharest. Hundreds of teams of young engineers will be present, bringing with them robots built in universities, high schools and research laboratories around the world.
Almost 1,200 robots from around the world will be brought to the competition. The competition includes 20 trials. The competition includes 20 events, including sumo wrestling between autonomous robots, speed races, intelligent mazes and demonstrations with humanoid robots.
This year’s edition will bring many interesting surprises:
-Sumo Robotics – robots that face off in tactical and strength duels;
-Line Follower & Line Follower Enhanced – autonomous robots that must follow routes at impressive speeds;
-Maze – maze and triathlon of humanoid robots, football;
-Humanoid Robot – humanoid robots capable of walking, dancing and interacting with the audience;
-Freestyle Showcase – open section for creative projects, from educational robots to inventions with industrial applications.
All competitions are commented by professionals and broadcast live on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok channels.
There will also be an exhibition area where technology companies will be able to present their innovations, live demonstrations with robotic arms and autonomous robots, and educational activities for the general public.
