Mihai FILIP, CEO OVES Enterprise

Cluj-Napoca/Romania, December 18, 2023 – #rbjOVES Enterprise, software development company and drone manufacturer, opens its first office in Norway, in Oslo, its seventh internationally in the last 2 years.

The office in Norway serves the entire northern part of Europe. Through the new entity, OVES Enterprise will manage the relationship with partners in Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

With the new office in Oslo, the company completes the investment process in this year’s international expansion. The total investment for opening new offices exceeded 500,000 euros in 2023.

“Northern Europe has been in our expansion strategy for a long time, the actual opening of the office in Oslo, however, depended on identifying the right opportunity or partner. In this region, there are leading technology companies that accelerate development through investment and innovation to match. As a rule, however, in order to have access to the northern markets, a very strong first partnership is needed, which we have now.
I made the step towards Northern Europe now also because, in the meantime, I have accumulated the necessary experience and maturity to be able to work on complex projects, which require resources including to be able to manage them organizationally,” says Mihai FILIP, CEO of OVES Enterprise, noting that with the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, companies in the Nordic countries understood that they needed help to advance technologically at the desired speed.

In this region, OVES Enterprise targets companies in the financial, cyber, defense, and those interested in the adoption of artificial intelligence, where it will be able to successfully contribute to deliver complex projects.

“We’ll be delivering software mostly to our customers, but we’ll also have a different approach in that we’ll be delivering some of our products to end customers. From IXXERA, the world’s first security platform for drone and aircraft networks based on blockchain and AI, to our highly advanced AI applications, to drones capable of flying over vast regions and providing video surveillance over large areas. Here we use AI to interpret the video feed in real time, and soon we will even be able to <<ask>> the AI what recommendations it can give us or what areas should be watched more closely to optimize the flight.” says Mihai FILIP.

Currently, over 80% of the company’s turnover is generated by business outside the country.
The international expansion of OVES Enterprise aims, next year, to be present in two new countries: Belgium and the Netherlands, the budget allocated in 2024 for the international expansion being approximately 500,000 euros.
