Bunnyshell, an Enterprise SaaS company, has concluded a partnership with the Middle East Telecommunications Company (METCO) that will support the expansion of the Romanian start-up in the Arab markets of the Gulf, according to a press release of the Romanian company.

Bunnyshell estimates that, by the end of 2024, 70% of sales will be made outside Romania. Currently, 35% of Bunnyshell’s turnover is generated from global projects.

“We are optimistic that through this new partnership, we will leverage METCO’s extensive expertise in the field of digital transformation. From the perspective of scaling Bunnyshell, the Arab markets in the Gulf are currently generating numerous opportunities in the field of digitization. Companies active in important fields in the UAE see innovation as on a strategic priority and the experience of the METCO team in the technology sector will support us in our efforts to penetrate the Arab markets, and this will generate a potential for development and investments in the Romanian tech sector in the future”, said Alin Dobra, Bunnyshell CEO .

“The partnership between Bunnyshell and METCO, a group with a relevant presence in the Gulf area, represents an important step for the continued development of bilateral business relations between the two regions, being a concrete example of the potential for collaboration between local companies, from Romania, and companies from the area Gulf,” said His Excellency Octavian Bădica, the Ambassador of Romania to the United Arab Emirates.

The two companies started discussions at the event dedicated to the fields of technology and energy, the RO-UAE Tech & Energy Summit, organized by GRIC in November 2022, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in which representatives of the business environment and the environment participated diplomatic from Romania and the GCC, the press release also states.
