Bucharest, February 7, 2024 – # RBJ – The national air carrier Tarom announces that it reconnects Romania with the USA on a daily basis and that it operates in partnership with Air Europa and ITA Airways daily round-trip flights between the “Henri Coandă” airport in Bucharest and the United States of America, namely New York (JFK) and Miami, with stopovers in Madrid or Rome.
“In February, ticket prices start at 608 euros for a round trip, with luggage and taxes included. The Tarom company has already put tickets on sale on the route Bucharest – New York and Bucharest – Miami. Starting from February 1, 2024, the Tarom company operates in partnership with Air Europa and ITA Airways daily round-trip flights between “Henri Coandă” airport (OTP) in Bucharest and the United States of America, respectively New York (JFK) and Miami, with optimal stopovers in Madrid or Rome”, announces the state company.
The USA is becoming a more accessible destination for the general public, both from the point of view of frequencies, and from the point of view of the prices and services included.
“Tarom is resuming the operation of daily flights together with its partners from the Sky Team alliance: Air Europa and ITA Airways and plans, in a short time, to complete flight routes to other destinations in the USA, increase flight frequencies and tariff offers. With the official announcement of the resumption of daily flights from the Capital to the United States of America, TAROM invites travelers to explore the “American dream” in two of the most vibrant cities such as New York City and Miami. The Statue of Liberty, Times Square or Miami Beach are now closer than ever to business or tourist travel plans for Romanians”, states the company.
Thus, passengers who choose TAarom services benefit in February from the offers of the national air carrier on two destinations in the USA.
“Those who have always dreamed of a walk on the spectacular 5th Avenue in New York or an escapade on the sunny beaches of Miami can check the transport service and the main objectives in their agenda, at extremely affordable prices. Air ticket prices start at 608 euros for New York, JFK airport, and from 785 euros for Miami. The prices apply for round trips and include hand luggage, hold luggage (1 bag of 23 kg), as well as the related taxes”, says Tarom.
The Romanian National Air Transport Company – Tarom was founded in 1954 and operates under the authority of the Ministry of Transport, being a member of the SkyTeam Alliance since June 25, 2010.
The National Carrier of Romania owns a fleet of 18 aircraft and has in its portfolio a number of 70 destinations operated with its own aircraft or served by its code share partners. Since 1993, Tarom has been a member company of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
