Bucharest, April 24, 2024 – RBJ – Star Taxi, the largest transport application developed by a Romanian company, is expanding its services in Arad, Craiova, Galați and Timișoara, being currently available in over 25 cities nationwide. With more than 80% of taxi drivers in each of the three cities present on the app, Star Taxi will offer an extremely low customer pickup time.
As in all the cities where Star Taxi is present, users have the opportunity to select the desired payment option – card, cash or the corporate option, through the Star Taxi Corporate service dedicated to companies, through which they can provide paid transport to employees.
The Star Taxi app currently employs over 25,000 taxi drivers nationwide and has over 3.5 million downloads from Google Play or the App Store.

The average Star Taxi driver rating is over 4.85, with a ride honesty percentage of over 90%. They are constantly monitored as their rating changes and can be kicked out if they don’t improve their services. Drivers with a high rating also get more visibility and are assigned to customer orders more often.
Corporate Service available for companies
Through the Star Taxi Corporate service, companies can provide settled transport for employees, with the possibility of setting daily, monthly or trip budget limits, thus having easy control over the costs involved, but also over the details of each employee’s transport. Customers have the option of cumulative invoicing, performed only once a month, with detailed reporting of all trips made during a month and the costs involved.
Currently, over 15,000 employees benefit from the Corporate service, and Star Taxi has signed partnerships with over 100 medium and large companies in Romania.
