European Startup Universe accessible to Romanian companies for business development

The founders of tech startups at the beginning of the road are invited to join the European Startup Universe, Europe’s largest incubator, which provides access to a global network of founders, investors and experts in various business fields, such as sales, marketing , product development, design.
European Startups Universe is a parallel incubation program in 11 countries of the European Union, Romania, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Slovenia, lasting 6 weeks, starting with the month of March 2022.
In Romania, the initiative is implemented by ROTSA – Romanian Tech Startups Association, a non-profit organization that aims to promote, support and represent the interests of technology startups in Romania, regardless of vertical, Techcelerator and ClujHub.
“It is our organizational mission to bring together the main actors of the national ecosystem of technology startups, facilitating their communication and creating connections and partnerships between them. We are glad that we were selected to implement this program at national level because we have a better opportunity to support the initiatives of internationalization startups and to identify sources of funding with which to grow “, says Cristiana Bogățeanu, Director ROTSA Executive.
Founders who are also interested in potential funding for their startups should make progress during the 6 weeks of the program, and at the end of the program, the team will organize calls with private investors and evaluate this progress.
Once they verify that the startup is mature enough, has an MVP and income, the founders will have the chance to get in touch with representatives of investment funds.
The program is aimed at all tech startups in the EU and aims to connect hundreds of startups at the beginning of the road with experts, founders of unicorn startups, investors, VC.
The activities of the program will take place online in March and April, during which time each team or founder of an early stage tech startup in the EU will have access to funding opportunities, the possibility of scaling to other EU countries and opportunities to find new customers.
