On January 18, 2022, the car with the number 7 million left the assembly line of the Dacia Automobile plant in Mioveni.
According to the information provided by the manufacturer, the anniversary model is a copy of the Duster Extreme Limited Series, in Gray Urban, equipped with the TCe 150 hp engine in the version with the EDC automatic gearbox. The vehicle is intended for a customer from Romania.
Inaugurated in August 1968, the Mioveni plant has produced, over time, six generations of models, from the Dacia 1100 to the new family vehicle, the Jogger.
The momentum of 1 million vehicles was reached in 1985, that of 2 million in 1998, and that of 5 million in 2014.
Launched in 2010, the Duster SUV – now in its second generation – is the most produced model in the plant’s history, with two million units manufactured.
Currently, of the total production of Dacia vehicles, over 85% are destined for export, mainly to markets in Europe, but also in North Africa and the Middle East.
