CIX Markets, a provider of online trading services for private investors, institutions, banks and brokerage houses, enters the Romanian market. The company, headquartered in Great Britain, will set up a branch in Bucharest, according to a press release sent today to our editorial office.
CIX Markets is a trademark of City Credit Capital Limited (UK), which has been licensed and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) since 2004.
CIX Markets will focus on providing forex trading (FX) and Difference Contracts (CFD) services to local investors. CIX Markets customers will have access to trading liquid financial instruments, including FX transactions, stock indices, precious metals or commodities either through the MetaTrader 4 platform or through their own CIX Trader platform, both systems being available on both desktop and mobile devices. Cosmin Ruse, an experienced Romanian trader, will manage the Bucharest branch and will be responsible for growing the business for City Credit Capital (CCC) and promoting the CIX Markets brand in Romania. Prior to joining CCC, Cosmin Ruse held a number of management positions in Romanian investment companies, including the position of Director of International Markets, as well as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In parallel with the development of a strong individual customer base, City Credit Capital also intends to create institutional partnerships with local brokerage houses. In this way, local brokers that offer clients financial instruments tradable on the Romanian capital market will be able to diversify their product portfolio, also offering access to derivatives trading.
