Bucharest, December 13, 2023# rbj – Chocolissimo Romania, one of the main players on the corporate gift market, the premium chocolate segment, recorded an increase in demand by over 40%, and in November 2023, in the corporate segment, sales increased by 15%, compared to the same period last year, according to the company’s internal data.

The market on which the company operates is the premium chocolate gifts, namely Belgian pralines, and its value is estimated, by the company representative, at approximately 10 mil EUR, according to the information reported by the main players for the year 2022.

The Chocolissimo brand sells pralines, figurines, tablets and chocolate-based specialties in Romania, over 90% of which are purchased as gifts by both individual and corporate customers. In terms of allocated budget, corporate orders have very different budgets, from 500 EUR to 250,000 EUR per purchase, but most are around 10,000 EUR. Both individual and corporate customers still prefer the star product from previous years, the chocotelegram which represents approximately 20% of total sales.

“For next year, we estimate a 25% increase in sales generated especially by the demand from the corporate segment, which for us represents 80% of the business. We are constantly adding new products to the portfolio with each collection, and now we are already working on the Spring Collection, which will have over 10 new products and products with improved designs,” said Aura Oprea, owner of Chocolissimo Romania.
Last year, the company started working with exclusive retail brands that request premium praline buffets at events, with a monthly frequency.

Chocolissimo is the international premium chocolate brand, also present in Romania since 2015. Chocolissimo Romania offers consumers interested in premium chocolate products, a wide range of pralines, figurines, tablets and chocolate-based specialties. Chocolissimo products are also purchased to be offered as gifts, with special collections dedicated to the Christmas, Easter, spring holidays, but also for various anniversaries or occasions over the year.
