Teilor, the Romanian chain of luxury jewelry stores, with a presence in the Central and Eastern Europe region, has opened its fourth brick-and-mortar store in Bulgaria, in a new city – Plovdiv, after three in Sofia. The event marks the brand’s fifteenth store internationally.
Currently, the Teilor network in Bulgaria, the first foreign market for the company, comprises four stores, three of which are located in Sofia and one in Plovdiv. With the new store in Bulgaria, the first opened by the company in 2023, Teilor reaches 65 physical stores in Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary and Czechia.
“In 2023, we want to strengthen our presence in the international markets where we operate. The opening of the new store in Plovdiv marks a new step in the expansion in Bulgaria, the first border that TEILOR crossed outside of Romania. The novelty lies in the fact that it is also the first store we open outside of Sofia, where we are already present in three important shopping centers.”, said Willy Dicu, CEO of Teilor.
The new store in Bulgaria is located in Plovdiv Plaza Mall, on the ground floor of the shopping center. It is made according to the Orange concept, a design that reflects the brand’s vision, being adapted to international trends. With a modern and minimalist look, the store has an area of 33 square meters and brings together all the brand’s collections. Among the jewels that impress in design and carat are a pair of diamond earrings worth more than 15,000 euros, as well as a pair of specially designed earrings with white, yellow and black diamonds worth more than 10,000 euros .
“The opening of the store in Plovdiv is part of our international expansion strategy, marking the fifteenth store of the TEILOR network outside of Romania. The expansion process will remain in our focus for international countries, where we have in mind the most important cities. Everything, combined with a strengthening of the brand’s notoriety and an omnichannel purchase experience dedicated to our customers,” says Willy Dicu, CEO of Teilor.
Teilor will continue its expansion strategy and, until 2024, will focus on strengthening its presence in existing markets. Starting in 2025, the company will explore expansion in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and other markets, aiming to open new stores in premium locations.
In addition to physical stores, Teilor currently operates five online platforms – teilor.com, teilor.ro, teilor.hu, teilor.bg and teilor.pl.
