MyCar Assistant, the Romanian application designed as a complex digital car assistant, which responds to all the needs of car owners, ended 2022 with more than 50,000 vehicles registered in the platform, and for 2023 it aims to expand its network of partners, attract new investments, and plans to reach 200,000 cars in the platform.
Built to support drivers as a mobile due date management app for personal cars and fleets, MyCar Assistant centralizes the most important documents and objects, such as RCA, ITP, vignette, or fire extinguisher, medical kit, and up to 100 types of notifications, so that drivers are informed in advance of their status, thus saving both time, as well as money, by avoiding potential fines. Last year, the company attracted new investments and launched a new version of the app with features that allow users to have an improved experience.
„We managed to have in 2022 an organic growth of approximately 10% monthly in the number of vehicles that are registered in the application. We have also concluded new partnerships that allow us to support our customers even more. For example, with MyCar Assistant, through the partnership concluded with Autonom Assistance, users can now request a towing platform anywhere in the country, just one click away. Also directly from the app, through the partnership with Ritter Broker, drivers can obtain RCA insurance, and soon we will implement a feature that allows it to be released in less than a minute, everything to make the administration of a car as easy and efficient as possible”, said Cristian Astaloș, the founder MyCar Assistant.
The top cities with the most users are Bucharest, Cluj, Constanta, Timișoara and Brașov. The main features used in 2022: checking notifications received constantly in the app, reports with the general situation of documents and vehicles, record of maintenance history, RCA insurance status, managing a fleet of drivers, damage management, vehicle condition assistance or expense records. With the development of current processes, the founders expect that the greatest growth in use in 2023 will be recorded for the functions of obtaining RCA insurance, claims administration or asset management.
Of the more than 50,000 vehicles registered in the platform, 38,000 are owned by individuals, while 12,000 are part of fleets managed for the corporate segment. For 2023, MyCar Assistant expects to grow to 150,000 vehicles registered by individual users and 50,000 owned by companies. For this year, the company aims to expand its activity internationally, choosing the Republic of Moldova as its first external market, and by the end of 2023 the app will also be available in 5 other countries.
The application has already attracted dozens of important corporate clients, among them players from transport, car services, construction, IT, retail, or the medical industry, with an average of 50-60 cars per fleet.
Fleet management is extremely easy, and drivers can add any car issue directly to the app, which provides absolute control and an overview for every fleet manager.
MyCar Assistant is a free application for individuals as well as for companies with up to 5 registered vehicles and is available to download from the App Store, Google Play or via the web application for laptops or tablets.
