The French group Saint-Gobain announced on Tuesday that it will build the second production line of gypsum boards in Turda, Romania, an investment of 45 million euros.

The new line will be operational in April 2023.
In Romania, Saint-Gobain has approximately 1,800 employees and offers a wide range of solutions and systems, with 22 production lines for gypsum boards, plasters, glass and basalt mineral wool, mortars, construction glass, glazing automotive and abrasives in 12 industrial sites.

In Romania, Saint-Gobain provides products and solutions from the Abrasives, Building Glass, Pietta Glass Working, Sekurit, ISOVER, PAM, Rigips and Weber ranges, accumulating approximately 1,800 employees in 12 industrial sites located in Brăneşti, Călăraşi, Ploieşti, Satu- Mare, Turda, Suceava and Vălenii de Munte.
