>>> The new branch will be located in Bergamo, and operations in Italy will be carried out by an operational team coordinated by a local representative.
>>> In addition to Italy, Parapet is present in Nuremberg and Gangkofen, Germany, and in Romania, with offices in Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest.

Bucharest, February 27, 2025 RBJ – Parapet, an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contractor specializing in renewable energy, continues its international expansion with the opening of a branch in Bergamo, Italy. This decision is part of the company’s European growth strategy, initiated in 2021 with the opening of its German branch and further strengthened last year with its expansion into Romania, with an office in Bucharest.

“The opening of the Italian branch is a natural step in Parapet’s international growth, driven by an increasing number of contracted projects in the renewable sector in Italy and neighboring countries. As an EPC contractor, we already have 42 MW of projects in the signing phase at the beginning of this year and are exploring new opportunities in both the photovoltaic and energy storage sectors. The Bergamo branch is a firm commitment to being closer to our Italian partners and responding promptly to their needs,” said Andrada Moldovan, CEO of Parapet.

At the local level, the company is strengthening its operational team, which includes technical experts, specialized personnel, as well as sales and business development specialists.

“Our goal is to develop Parapet’s Italian branch to the same level as our German operations, including the transfer of expertise and experience gained from projects implemented in Western Europe and Romania. We operate as an EPC contractor for photovoltaic, wind, and energy storage systems, offering complete turnkey services: from design, engineering, and procurement to construction and maintenance,” said Lucio Copernico, coordinator of Parapet’s Italian branch.

Parapet’s first projects in Italy date back to 2015 in the province of Brescia. These involved mechanical work on photovoltaic power plants that now supply entire communities in the region with electricity. As the third-largest producer of renewable energy in Europe, Italy is a strategic market for Parapet, and the company’s expanded presence there reinforces its commitment to actively contributing to the region’s energy transition.

Parapet is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contractor in the renewable energy sector, with offices in Romania, in Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest, and branches in Germany and Italy. The company specializes in civil construction, electrical construction, and installation services, providing turnkey solutions through EPC / BoP / BoS. Since its establishment in 2012, Parapet has reached 1.5 GW of installed clean energy across 17 European countries. Parapet’s portfolio includes over 350 photovoltaic, wind, or hybrid projects, offering comprehensive services from design, engineering, and procurement to construction and maintenance.
