Bucharest, November 9, 2023 – # rbj – Today, November 9, 2023, Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, signed the founding statute of the cluster International Technical Center for Innovation in Smart City – “CITI Cluster” at the Central Library of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest.
“Creating the CITI Cluster demonstrates our commitment to transforming Romanian cities into smart, sustainable, citizen-centric environments. Together with our partners, we explore economic benefits, citizen security and improving mobility and waste management through technology and innovation. We aim to build a sustainable and progressive urban future.” said Adrian-Victor Vevera at the official ceremony of signing the founding statute.
CITI Cluster aims to change how Romanian cities deal with urban issues, advancing towards smart, sustainable cities centred on citizens’ needs, using technology, innovation and research. Thus, the partners contribute to an improved urban future through sustainable development.
