The National Transport Company Natural Gas ‘Transgaz’ SA and the limited liability company OOO ‘Gazprom Export’ from the Russian Federation have agreed to extend the natural gas transport contract on the territory of Romania for another three months, until December 31, 2019.
According to a report from Transgaz, published on Thursday evening on the website of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), this extension of the contract duration allows the continuity of the natural gas transportation services from the Russian Federation to Turkey, Greece and other states in south-east Europe. .
SNTGN Transgaz SA is the technical operator of the National Transport System (SNT) natural gas and ensures the fulfillment in terms of efficiency, transparency, security, non-discriminatory access and competitiveness of the national strategy on the internal and international transport of natural gas and natural gas dispatching, as well as research and design in the specific field of its activity, in compliance with the requirements of European and national legislation, of the standards of quality, performance, environment and sustainable development.
