On May 18, the first Gaming Summit organized by IAA will take place, under the umbrella of Creativity4Better Hub.
The IAA Gaming Summit consists of a series of interactive live episodes. each of 1.30 hours, transmitted in the virtual environment.
The theme of the event is “Use Gaming to Authentically Reach New and Engaged Audiences”, of particular topicality and importance, especially considering the speed of development of the gaming industry and its growing importance in marketing and integrating brands from previously unconnected industries. The gaming audience is one of the most connected and loyal, “captive” and captivated for a long time. Compared to other mediums already used in marcom, the performance of the gaming industry is hard to match.
For the first time, it will be discussed how brands can integrate in gaming and esports. Both the strategic implications and the internal challenges that a brand may face in implementing such a strategy will be analyzed.
Each episode will have its own speakers and topics covered. The guests include professionals who are already active in the gaming industry, or whose companies have a rich history of involvement in this industry, national and international leaders. They will present their experience in case studies, how they chose gaming as a medium of communication, as well as the results obtained.
The first episode of the IAA Gaming Summit will be with Scott Humphries, Chief Product Officer, Amber, with over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry and a portfolio including Tetris Beat (Apple Arcade), Secret Neighbor (Roblox and tinyBuild) and other projects together with companies like Electronic Arts and Disney Interactive. A practical case from Romania itself, born from the collaboration of McCann Worldgroup Romania and KFC, will be discussed in detail, where we will be joined by Gina Zgurbea, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Sphera Franchise Group (KFC, Pizza Hut & Taco Bell) and Andrei Florian, Culture & Insights Manager, McCann Worldgroup Romania.
