Bosch Romania Engineering Center is expanding its development activities in Bucharest, where engineers will work on state-of-the-art projects for the development of solutions in the areas of automated, electric and connected mobility, within a hybrid and flexible working model, the company announced. a press release.

According to the company, with this expansion, the Bosch Engineering Center plans to increase the number of employees by more than 400 in the next period.
“Shortly after its launch, the pilot project to expand the Bosch Engineering Center in Bucharest is already a success. More than 20 highly skilled software engineers in the area have already been integrated into our development teams. I’m glad we were able to quickly integrate our new colleagues into existing teams, despite mostly digital collaboration. The Covid-19 pandemic brought with it a change in the work paradigm, mostly digital, and Bosch has adapted, at a fast pace, managing to form efficient hybrid teams, based on trust, good collaboration and results. and less on the constant physical presence at the office “, said Cătălin Golban, head of the Engineering Department of video perception systems at the engineering center in Cluj and coordinator of the project to expand Bosch’s development activities in Romania.
Bosch representatives point out that, through the “Smart Work” initiative, the company has implemented a hybrid collaboration model globally, systematically modeling the interaction between remote work and work at the company’s headquarters.
“The new hybrid way of working, which combines the benefits of working from home, efficiency and agility and the benefits of office work, innovation and collaboration, has been successfully implemented in the Engineering Center of Romania since 2021. Implementing working conditions flexible has facilitated the launch of a pilot project to expand development activities in Bucharest, with the opportunity to work at Bosch headquarters for those who want to work in the office.
