In the event organized by Microsoft Romania and dedicated to its local partners, the IT Assist company was rewarded with the “Best Growth Partner 2022” award. The award is given to the Microsoft partner that registered the highest growth in 2022. This award certifies the efforts that IT Assist specialists have made and continue to make to support Romanian companies in their effort to migrate to a flexible way of working and at the same time cost-effective.
The adoption and use of cloud services is one of the main objectives of Microsoft Romania, the company becoming a Microsoft partner on cloud technologies since 2015.
The pandemic and the development of digital services make the cloud the centerpiece of new digital experiences, a trend manifested globally. In 2022, global cloud revenue is estimated by Gartner analysts at $474 billion, up from $408 billion in 2021, and over the next few years, they expect cloud revenue to surpass non-cloud revenue for the most important enterprise IT market segments.
The award obtained complements those that Microsoft has awarded to IT Assist, the most important being Microsoft Best Managed Services Provider in 2017 and Microsoft Best Partner Productivity Solutions in 2018. The suite of awards is based on the work of the IT Assist team of specialists, which has accumulated a set of more than 10 Microsoft Gold skills in areas related to Productivity, Cloud, Datacenter, Surface, Business Applications, to which are added multiple certifications on Microsoft technologies.
“We are especially honored by this award from Microsoft, one of our main technology partners. In addition to the efforts made by our team members in the implementation of Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions, an important contribution in obtaining this distinction is the support that the local Microsoft team members have given us constantly and consistently,” said Bogdan Dodu, Director General of IT Assist. “Also, our success is based on the trust that customers give both to Microsoft solutions and to the partnership relationship built with them during the collaboration with our team,” added Bogdan Dodu.
“Without a doubt, the pandemic has accelerated the pace at which we adopt new technologies. If three years ago very few companies intended to adopt the hybrid or virtual way of working, today these things are being adopted by more and more users. IT Assist is an example, at the moment we have no physical offices and rely exclusively on online working. This was a consequence of the development of cloud technologies and software as a service, in this case the solutions from Microsoft implemented by us as well.” Mircea MITU, Founder & CTO at IT Assist.
Founded in 2006, the company IT Assist has built a team of 50 specialists with advanced expertise, serving over 300 clients. IT Assist has important know-how, accumulated in the implementation of IT projects and solutions with an advanced degree of complexity. The company has technology partnerships with world leaders such as Microsoft, Fortinet, Cisco Systems, Veeam Software, Ruckus, VMware, Bitdefender and competencies on Microsoft and Linux platforms for infrastructure solutions, networking, security, cloud, backup and productivity applications.
