The Huawei Ads advertising platform will be coordinated in nine countries in the region by the new team formed in Bucharest. Based on real-time bidding (RTB), the service provides advertising solutions for websites and applications and aims to establish a new way of communicating between partners and users of Huawei devices running Huawei Mobile Services.
Huawei opens in Huawei the coordination hub of Huawei Ads for the Balkan countries, which will lead the activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. The hub will have the support of over 200 regional and local specialists who will develop business relationships with local partners.
The advertising platform allows profile agencies or direct clients to run campaigns to achieve their goals, with multiple types of ads and campaigns available.
Using these new promotion methods, those who want to advertise benefit from lower costs compared to other platforms, from different types of ads (video, image, text, app icon), multiple bidding methods (CPC, CPM, CPD, CPI) but also special budgets for testing the platform.
These promotional solutions can be used to increase sales (e-commerce) and brand visibility or to download applications and are a direct way to reach Huawei users.
Huawei Ads provides precise targeting by having its own data management platform (DMP), where specific audiences can be created through over 100 available tags. The target audience is identified based on interests, hobbies, remarketing or re-engagement or more specific features based on user behavior in different applications. Huawei Ads also comes bundled with a number of features to explore new audiences through demographics or the phone model used.
In terms of data security, Huawei Ads has local servers in Europe and complies with local laws and the EU Data Protection Regulation.

Huawei advertising solutions include Programmatic Display, AppGallery, and Search Network.
Programmatic Display – a solution that allows you to plan, analyze and optimize campaigns in real-time and can reach a base of over 45 million users per month in Europe. Both websites and applications can be promoted from all business verticals and for any type of conversion, regardless of whether sales, leads, increased visibility or new application downloads are targeted.
AppGallery – Huawei app store, is a promotional channel to increase the number of app downloads. Exclusive promotional space, keywords, or special recommendations are some of the ways to reach the ever-growing AppGallery user base, which currently stands at $ 580 million.
Petal Search – the Huawei search engine, where through keywords or product feeds you can reach users who are directly interested in the services or products promoted.
In Romania, Huawei Ads has traffic generated from three sources, namely the applications in AppGallery, where there is the highest traffic, applications developed by Huawei, pre-installed on company devices (eg Huawei Video, Browser, Huawei Music, etc.), and third parties, whose ads can be displayed not only on Huawei phones but also on other HMS devices.
