Antibiotice Iasi has won the EC tender for the delivery in Europe of the antibiotic AmoxiPlus

Antibiotice Iaşi SA has won the tender organized by the European Commission for the product AmoxiPlus (amoxicillin / clavulanic acid – sterile injectable powder) and will deliver, at the request of European countries, 2.75 million vials, in a period of 12 months, informs the company through a press release.
The European Commission has recently finalized the tender to provide member countries with the necessary stocks for the second wave of the pandemic with beta-lactam antibiotics (amoxicillin with clavulanic acid and piperacycline with tazobactam).

Amoxicillin with clavulanic acid, along with piperacycline with tazobactam, are the main products recommended by the World Health Organization in anti-infective treatment.
