-Atta Systems has become a multi-structural platform. What portfolio did you start with and what was the company’s trajectory?
-Together with my colleague Alexandru Artimon, we founded Atta Systems in 2015, under the initial name of AB4 Systems, wishing to develop globally relevant software products that would bring added value to their users. Since 2015, the company has been on a constant growth trend in terms of turnover, registering increases between 15% and 300%. During these first 5 years, we had extraordinary clients, together with which we managed to develop and launch software products with a real impact on society. Some examples in this direction would be UNICEF, together with which we developed the Aurora software product, that aims to bring digital transformation for social assistance services in Romania, a project for which we were awarded this year at the Gala ANIS 2020 event, the World Bank with which we worked on the development of a software platform used together with ANPDCA for the deinstitutionalization of placement centers throughout the country or Medicai, together with which we are working to develop what we hope will be the next Made in Romania unicorn.
-Does Atta have the ability to become a multinational and in terms of turnover not only the geographical profile?
-We trust that Atta Systems has all the prerequisites to develop and become a multinational company in the coming years and we are constantly working to bring the company on this evolution path. We believe that we have the necessary maturity, determination, and know-how, as well as the support of an extraordinary team, with which to build a globally relevant company.
-Which of the company’s projects had the greatest impact on their own development and on the ecosystem of which are part?
-We pay great attention to selecting our clients and the projects we get involved in because we like to particularly focus on building long-term relationships with each one of our clients, through which we can better understand their needs and offer them the best technical solutions. And for that to happen it is necessary to have a good synergy with our clients. That’s why we ask ourselves this question whenever we start a collaboration with a new client: “How will this new collaboration impact Atta Systems?” So far, we believe that all our clients have contributed to the development of our company and we wish for the same thing to happen in the future as well.
-What are your immediate and medium term projects? Does Atta have the ambition to be among the future unicorns of the field?
-Our goals are directly related to our company’s mission to develop relevant software products with global impact. To achieve these goals, our short and medium-term intentions are to expand our client portfolio, both through the activity of our recently opened office in Singapore and through the ambitious goal of expanding our business on the East Coast of the United States in the very next year. Besides, we believe we are living in a global, permanently connected, society, a society in which Romania is becoming increasingly relevant worldwide, especially in the field of technology. We believe that at Atta Systems we have the capacity and determination to follow this trend and to develop into a global, multinational company, and, why not, we hope to even become a future unicorn.
