Alfa Software, one of the IT providers with the most dynamic rise on the market in Transylvania, announces business growth of 10% in 2021 compared to the previous year.
Although it was a difficult period, in which the concept of “work from home” was applied and most of the projects were carried out remotely, Alfa Software has succeeded in delivering turnkey ERP systems to customers while developing new functionalities. A large part of these is based on substantial legislative changes required by the Romanian state. These are the 406 SAF-T declaration and eFactura, which meet the needs of Romanian companies to align with the new legislative provisions and come into force from this year.
Also during 2021, new functionality has been developed within the ASiS BI (Business Intelligence) module precisely to provide ASiS customers with a complete experience of fast and intuitive analysis of their business.
“The results achieved during 2021 confirm the continuation of the trend of accelerated digitalization of local companies. The need to streamline the way of working is keen, and ERP solutions are exactly the answer to what organizations need,” said Cristian Gabriel Pavel, General Manager of Alfa Software.
In 2021, Alfa Software has increased its team of IT specialists by 10% in order to strengthen the rate of generating new functionalities, necessary in the process of digitalization of companies.
Alfa Software is one of the first Romanian companies producing ERP systems and has entered its 25th year of activity. In the medium and long term, the company’s main objective is to consolidate its favorable position in the Romanian ERP market. Thus, the company aims to revolutionize the way businesses manage their activity and to continuously develop innovative tools for the efficiency of Romanian companies.
In this context, in 2022 Alfa Software will focus its resources on the development of new modules with immediate applicability in the verticals: Manufacturing, Construction and Transport/Shipping. One of these modules is Document Management which will largely replace the manual operation of documents in ASiS ERP with an artificial intelligence component. Through this module, which will include an OCR-ization function, documents, regardless of their format (picture, pdf) will be “read”, interpreted and assimilated by ASiS ERP as structured information.
Another direction of development in 2022 concerns the Transport/Shipping vertical. In this regard, a TMS module will be created, dedicated to transport companies. It will have the ability to perform simulations, route planning, real-time integrations via APIs with: Tracking-GPS solutions, transport grants, petrol stations and tax systems. It will even have a dedicated mobile phone app for drivers.
“We expect 2022 to be a year as good as 2021, in which we estimate to maintain our 10% annual growth rate. Of course, these estimates depend on the macroeconomic context, but also on maintaining security and peace in our region. All these elements can have a significant impact on the whole economy, not only on the rhythm of development of our business”, concluded Cristian Gabriel Pavel, CEO of Alfa Software.
